How do I cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on iPhone or iPad, your subscription is managed by Apple. Open the Settings app on your device, tap your Apple ID at the top, then Subscriptions → Khio Study → Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the billing period. If you subscribed on the web, go to Khio Study Settings → Subscription → Manage Plan.
How do I restore purchases on a new device?
Sign into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, open Khio Study, go to Settings → Subscription, and tap Restore Purchases. Your premium access comes right back.
How do I delete my account?
Open Khio Study, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently erases your study sets, notes, chat history, and profile — it can't be undone. If you have an active App Store subscription, remember to also cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions so Apple stops billing.
What file types can I upload?
PDFs, PowerPoint (.pptx), plain text, Markdown, images (PNG/JPG), audio recordings, and YouTube links. The AI turns any of these into flashcards, quizzes, study guides, mind maps, podcasts, and an interactive tutor.
The AI got something wrong — is that normal?
AI study tools are powerful but not perfect. Always double-check critical facts against your source material or a teacher. If you notice a consistent issue, email us with the set name and we'll look into it.
Can I use Khio Study offline?
You need an internet connection for AI features — generating sets, grading answers, tutor chat. Flashcards you've already created can be reviewed in a limited offline mode, but online is the full experience.
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Your study materials are private to your account — we don't share them with other users and never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I can't sign in — what do I do?
Try these in order: (1) make sure you're on the latest app version, (2) check your internet connection, (3) if you used Sign in with Apple, sign out of the app, force-close it, and sign back in. If that doesn't work, email [email protected] with the email or phone number on your account and we'll sort it out.
How do refunds work?
App Store subscriptions are refunded by Apple, not by us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find your Khio Study charge, and request a refund.
